The Introduction of STRA
In 2020, NSW introduced the STRA legislation for AirBnB properties, and Blair very quickly became confident in upgrading rentals so they could gain their STRA number and be deemed compliant. In 2021 Blair also completed his training for Pool Fence compliance and Evacuation Diagrams, rounding off the suite of services on offer.
Since then, Captain Compliance has become the “go-to” company for help with compliance and auditing for over 1000 properties from Lismore to Yamba to the Queensland Border.
The Legacy Continues…
Today, Blair is still auditing, all day, every day. While the company has grown, and aquired some additional staff to help him, Blair continues to be known for his easy-going nature, wealth of knowledge, work ethic and dependability.
Some tenants have seen Blair for over 10 years, coming every 12 months to perform the annual audit, and issue fresh certificates. While the Captain Compliance brand expands into different fields, and helps more and more customers, Blair knows that attrition is the key. By just turning up each year, with the same low cost, and the same great service, Captain Compliance continues to be an integral part of the rental scene in the Northern Rivers.
